The USC Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute  applies innovative imaging and information technologies to the study of the brain. Their interdisciplinary team investigates brain structure, function and disease, using techniques such as mathematics, genomic analysis and ultra-high-field MRI scanning. Directed by Provost Professor Arthur W. Toga, the institute is housed within Stevens Hall of Neuroimaging, a dedicated, custom-built facility at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics (CCAM)

The Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics (CCAM)  serves to encourage and facilitate research, education, and outreach in computational mathematics and science through interdisciplinary collaborations of a diverse group of faculty, students, and external partners.The Center hosts a seminar series in which faculty and students, as well as external groups, can talk about their research and activities.

Center for Cancer Prevention, Health Disparities Research & Training

 

The Center for Cancer Disparities Research at California State University, Fullerton  was established in 2006 to address the increasing burden of health disparities, especially in cancer.

External Collaborating Institutes:

With the mission to fill the equity gap, NAARE collaborating institutes support NAARE scholars by providing on-site visits and workshops specific to each university’s graduate programs in neurocognitive aging, focusing on topics such as specific university/program requirements, narrative and personal statement writing, and obtaining funding. NAARE scholars will be able to interact with current graduate students and tour each respective campus.
